AT Cut Cylindrical Quartz Endcaps For Quartz Pressure Sensor

Thickness-shear mode pressure sensor employ an AT-cut biconvex thickness shear mode resonator as a sensing element. The resonator is positioned symmetrically between two AT-cut cylinders or endcaps. BonTek provides AT cut quartz endcaps.

Multiple degrees of freedom exist that allow a decreased AF and an associated increase in the pressure range.
(i) thickness of the resonator (h),
(ii) thickness of the top wall of the end cap (t),
(iii) thickness of the side walls of the endcap (w),
